KSO Presents: Sounds in Sand

Sat March 13, 2021  to Sun April 11, 2021
Arts & Culture, Musical Performance
Kamloops Symphony

The Kamloops Symphony adds a visual twist to our concert experiences. Watch Russian sand artists Marina & Eva Sosnina craft elegant real-time artwork in sync with the music in a unique, intercontinental collaboration. This mother-daughter duo will “paint” along to a “modestly modern” arrangement of Mussorgsky’s classic Pictures at an Exhibition for chamber orchestra and create a brand-new work along to Iman Habibi’s Radiant Light.
