TRU ranching program undergoes substantial revamp, renamed ‘regenerative agriculture’ – TRU Newsroom

TRU’s Applied Sustainable Ranching program in Williams Lake has been renamed and revamped to better serve the needs of students and the changing environment. Renamed Regenerative Agriculture, the new program includes numerous upgrades while retaining a solid foundation in business management and soil health. “With the effects of climate change looming all around us, the importance of understanding and learning how to apply regenerative agriculture practices has never been more vital,” says Gillian Watt, Regenerative Agriculture Program co-ordinator.
