TRUSU’s Winter Fest – TRU Newsroom

November 16, 2023 at 5:18 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, it’s time to kick off the holiday season in style.

Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 22 for a heart-warming celebration with your friends and the TRU community.

This unique event is a delightful blend of festivities like a holiday postcard station, hot chocolate station, live musical performances, large fire pits, marshmallow roasting and a local food truck.

As the day turns to night, gather around as we will come together to light up a grand 60-foot holiday tree, marking the official start of the holiday season.

The tree will be decorated with large basketball size ornaments prepared by various campus groups.

Winter Fest is a family-friendly event, open to all members of our community, and the best part – admission and all activities are free.
