Stop the Stigma – info session – TRU Newsroom

November 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm  Education, Kamloops, News

TRU Bob Gaglardi School of Business and Economics and TRU’s Faculty of Education and Social Work, with support from the Aaron Manson “Be Brave” Memorial Fund, present an educational and support-focused event aimed at ending the stigma behind addiction.

Hosted during National Addiction Awareness Week, we welcome our community to join us in a safe space as we learn how to support those struggling with substance use, hear stories from those directly impacted and learn how to find help.

Interior Health and the TRU Wellness Centre will offer assistance by providing naloxone training and offering additional resources within the community.
