The TRU Students’ Union (TRUSU) recognizes the inequities that two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) students face in society and the importance of declaring campus as a safe space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
That is why the TRUSU Pride Parade brings students, faculty, staff and community members together each fall to raise awareness about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and to claim our campus as a safe place to study, work or socialize regardless of your sexual orientation or gender identity.
All are welcome to join the parade and support a diverse and inclusive campus!
