You’ve started your online Open Learning course and are thinking about working on your assignments.

Now what?

Where and how do you start finding information for your topics?

In this session, intended for students new to library research or needing a refresher, you’ll learn the basics of using the TRU Library’s website and discover search tool to search for academic books and journal articles to support your academic assignments.

We’ll discuss what sort of material is suitable for academic research, what is not, and how to become a more efficient researcher by creating and using effective search strategies.

We’ll also look at how library search tools can help you with your citations and save you time.
