Join TRU Faculty Lyn Baldwin and Elizabeth Templeman for a celebration of their new books, Drawing Botany Home: A Rooted Life and Out and Back.
Using personal essays, both authors reflect on their experience fledgling a family and building community in the places they call home, Kamloops and Heffley Lake.
Although written from differing perspectives, both books demonstrate how close attention can transform the mundane moments of our lives—driving kids out and back, botanizing in the grasslands, collaborating with colleagues—into the momentous.
