Canada’s NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh issued the following statement:

“On behalf of all New Democrats, Eid Mubarak to Muslims celebrating in Canada and around the world.

As we mark the end of Ramadan, let us reflect on the values of compassion, generosity, and community that this holy month represents. Eid is a joyous time to come together with family and loved ones and celebrate.

As Muslims around the world gather with their families and friends, New Democrats send you our warmest wishes.

May this Eid be filled with love, peace, and blessings.
