NDP Statement on the senseless shooting in Vaughan « Canada’s NDP

“New Democrats are devastated by the news of the shooting in Vaughan and extend our deepest sympathies to all who are impacted.

We thank the first responders who risked their lives protecting the condo building residents and helping those injured.

It’s unfathomable to think of the pain and trauma the Vaughan community is going through. Everyone should be able to feel safe in their own home.

Our hearts are with the families and loved ones of all who are impacted by this tragedy and the entire Vaughan community.”
