A Bright Star Bringing Joy This Christmas Season

A bright star on the tour of Kamloops Christmas lights was lit again this year. 

Kevin Schmidt, an electrician with the Electrical Workers Union Local 993, once again spent countless hours preparing and creating a light display that’s sure to be one of the season’s highlights.

Located in Upper Sahali at 1950 Sapphire Court, it’ll be the gem of your light tour.

Local neighbours, friends and family gathered on Thursday for the official lighting with tasty treats, some hot drinks and propane fires to keep warm.

This year, Mr Schmidt is helping to raise money for the BGC Kamloops (formerly known as Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops) with a donation box located at the front of the display.
