A new faculty member at TRU has been awarded a Canada Research Chair in Nursing and Population Health. Dr. Juanita-Dawne Bacsu’s research will focus on improving health equity and quality of life of rural older adults living with dementia. “I’m looking to enhance rural people with dementia and their care partner’s navigation to health care and support services,” Bacsu told Radio NL.
