Ottawa announces $10M for Indigenous-led clean energy projects in Saskatchewan – July 11, 2022

In Regina, Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson announces nearly $10 million in federal funding for five clean energy projects in partnership with Saskatchewan First Nations. He is joined by Richard Ben (chief of the Meadow Lake Tribal Council), Gary Merasty (CEO of the Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies and senior adviser on Indigenous and external relations, School of Environment and Sustainability, University of Saskatchewan), and Guy Lonechild (CEO of First Nations Power Authority of Saskatchewan).
