Newfoundland and Labrador expanding access to COVID-19 booster doses – April 13, 2022

In St. John’s, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, Newfoundland and Labrador’s chief medical officer of health, provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. Starting April 25, first booster doses of the vaccine will be available to people ages 12 and 17. The province is also expanding second booster doses to people 70 and older, residents in communal living facilities, and to Indigenous people 18 and older who reside in remote communities.
