Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visits NATO base in Adazi, Latvia – March 8, 2022

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau takes part in a welcoming ceremony at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) base in Adazi, Latvia. He is joined by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Latvian Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins, Latvian President Egils Levits, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand. The Canadian prime minister is in Europe from March 6 to 11 to meet with other world leaders. His meetings with European leaders will focus on the global response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
