Season’s greetings from the Green Party

December 24, 2021 at 8:45 am  Federal, Politics

OTTAWA – The Green Party of Canada extends warm wishes to everyone celebrating Christmas, or however you honour the light at the darkest time of the year.

“On this second COVID Christmas, I hope that staying healthy and keeping our families healthy are top of mind for everyone and that we can all find ways to connect and celebrate safely,” said interim Leader Amita Kuttner.

“And let’s remember that while our celebrations may be restricted, for some members of our community this is a lonely time of year, with very little to celebrate. In this season of giving, I am perpetually reminded of entrenched inequities and I hope we can all resist the relentless push for overconsumption. I think of Tiny Tim. If you can, please take a moment to extend a helping hand or a warm greeting to someone in need.

“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at the Green Party.”
