Power Engineering 4th Class – TRU Newsroom
Join TRU School of Trades and Technology faculty members for this virtual information session and find out how you can become a Power Engineer.
Registration: email email@example.com to receive the virtual event link.
You can take classes on-campus in Kamloops or online, and complete your 4th Çlass Foundation program in just ten months.
As a Power Engineer you’ll be certified to operate heating and power plants, refrigeration systems and auxiliary equipment like pumps, compressors, steam turbines, electrical generators, cooling towers and water treatment systems. And you’ll be ready for the job with hands-on training using TRU’s steam power plant with enough power for 30 homes, experience with both Watertube and Firetube gas-fired steam boilers, and field and control room position opportunities.
