Join TRU’s Faculty of Science for the Data Science Seminar Series.

This Wednesday Jan. 27 at 5:30 p.m. join TRU Faculty Member Omer Waqar as he presents Wireless Energy Harvesting and Deep Learning for B5G and 6G Communication Systems.

Abstract:

In the first half of this discussion, Waqar presents an introduction on 5G communication systems with an emphasis on wireless energy harvesting. More specifically, state-of-the art methods for the wireless energy harvesting and new results for wireless powered networks will be discussed. In the second half, Waqar will discuss the fundamentals of Deep Learning (DL) theory along with its applications in future generation communication systems such as beyond 5G (B5G) and 6G systems. The necessity for Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) for 6G communication systems and new results for the application of DL theory in wireless communication systems will also be highlighted.
