100 Mile Free Press | Canim Lake Band elects new councillors – TRU Newsroom

Carl Archie, who graduated from TRU’s School of Business and Economics, joins the Canim Lake Band after being elected to one of three councillor seats in a vote last month. Archie said he was motivated to run for council by his friends across the country who are currently doing cool things for their communities and a desire to revive and promote the Secwepemc culture and identity among his people.
