Taste of Downtown is Underway!
You can get a Taste of Downtown passport for a minimum donation of just $5. All donations will go to the Kamloops Food Bank to help feed local families and individuals in need. With your passport, you get access to a whole host of amazing offers from downtown restaurants. For example, Scoopz Ice Cream Parlor is offering one free scoop of ice cream to passport holders, while Caffe Motivo is offering 10% off all menu items. And remember, you can use your passport at all of our Taste of Downtown locations twice! Get your passport at the KCBIA main office from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, or at the CAP Team office at 340 Victoria Street from 11 am to 1 pm, Monday to Saturday. We will also be at the Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays selling passports from 10 am until 1 pm.
Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic happening at the moment, we’ve decided to change things up for Taste of Downtown this year. In past years, Taste of Downtown has been a day-long event. This year, in order to reduce crowds, we’ve decided to make Taste of Downtown a month-long event. This is part of Downtown Kamloops’s #OpenWithCare campaign, which is dedicated to keeping Kamloops businesses open and safe during this trying time. So, you have until August 31st to take advantage of as many of these excellent offers as you can.
