The Tournament Capital Centre houses the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, TCC Fieldhouse, Hillside Stadium and a large fitness centre. Many of the tournaments in Kamloops will take place here at the Tournament Capital Centre.

Conveniently located near two arterial roads, the TCC is a short drive from accommodations, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Ample parking requirements have been addressed as have logistics around locker rooms, storage, meeting rooms, athlete training and workout space, washrooms, concession, and wheelchair accessibility.

Tournament Capital Centre Facilities

The world class Tournament Capital Centre is an outstanding facility in Kamloops and is a big part of the city’s Tournament Capital Program. This world class facility includes a Fieldhouse, well equipped gymnastics centre, Canada Games Aquatic Centre (Olympic length pool), indoor throws room, work-out facilities, outdoor FIFA-certified artificial turf soccer field, and several banquet rooms and retail space. There are 16 change rooms in total and a media press room.

TCC Field House

The TCC Fieldhouse consists of a six-lane, 200 metre track surrounding three NBA size basketball courts (2 hardwood FIBA certified) and seating for up to 2,500. The room itself is the size of three NHL Hockey rinks (65,000 square feet). Large curtains that descend from the ceiling can be drawn to separate the courts or used as partitions.

The TCC Field House is spacious, airy and bright. Many groups have been so pleased with the facility that they have rebooked for the upcoming competitions.

Spacious locker rooms, washrooms, meeting rooms, athlete training and workout areas, concession, and electronic score clock are other features. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Work Out Facilities
There’s 8,000 square feet of space designated for top of the line, brand new workout facilities. People working out have a great view of the outdoor track, the Thompson Rivers University Campus and a great view of the city.

Gymnastics Centre
The Gymnastics Centre is approximately 15,000 square feet and has all of the equipment and room to serve as a full practice facility.

Canada Games Aquatic Centre
The Canada Games Aquatic Centre was built for the Canada Summer Games in 1993. The pool is 50 meters with 8 lanes along with 1 metre, 3 metre and 5 meter diving boards.

Indoor Throws Room
Kamloops is the first community in BC to have an indoor throws room for track and field.

Sage Medical Centre
The Tournament Capital Centre houses the Sage Medical Centre, home to orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Ross Outerbridge, sport physiotherapist, Tracy Kelly; Athletic Therapist, Kevin Brechin; as well as offices for Pacific Sport, and local athletic organizations.

Hillside Stadium
The new sport field at Hillside Stadium is the first monofilament turf field in North America to be awarded a Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) recommended 1 star certificate. The field is fully lit, and is surrounded by an 8 lane 400 metre, all-weather running track.
