For decades, The Commodore was an important part of Victoria Street in downtown Kamloops, BC. Now, the historical venue has been reinvented as the perfect fusion of restaurant and lounge.

Since its official opening as “The Commodore — Grand Cafe & Lounge” on February 26th, 2007, The Commodore has proven to be the only truly unique entertainment experience in Kamloops offering patrons a classy yet casual feel.

Influenced by diversity, we offer everything from specialty cocktails to fondue nights or exotic lunch and dinner dishes with European flare. Music at The Commodore is just as unique as our menu. Our in-house DJs spin everything from hip-hop and electro to house and break beats starting at 10pm. During the week, enjoy everything from soft rock acoustic jam sessions to live jazz and funk every Friday. We are also continuously searching for the hottest music and newest artists to premier.

The Commodore Grand Cafe & Lounge is the dream of two young entrepreneurs born and raised in Kamloops. With roots in the Italian culture, Chris Monteleone and Dino Bernardo have mastered the ability to fuse European flare, downtown style and affordable prices.

Whether you stop in for lunch, tapas or spend an evening dining and dancing with friends, The Commodore Grand Cafe & Lounge will offer you an alternative and keep you coming back for more. The Commodore is located, as it has been for decades, at 369 Victoria Street in Kamloops, BC.
