At Southwest we would agree that there is a huge gap between the life Jesus offers and the life we’re living. The life He offers isn’t safe, nice, or cautious. Instead, it is dangerous, holy, bold, and selfless. Living the latter is hard. It requires an open mind, a mouldable heart, a truck-load of courage, and a community effort. We don’t promise perfection. We don’t claim to know all the answers. But we do promise to struggle the best we can to worship without fear, pray with reverence, serve with gratitude, and love God and others without our well-crafted facades.
