In September 1960, Kamloops Full Gospel Tabernacle was birthed. A few families, united by a belief in the unfailing grace of God and in the evidence of the Pentecostal experience, began to pray together in homes until God proved Himself faithful. Miracles began to happen and growth came. A vibrant ministry to children quickly developed, becoming the largest part of this early church. Following shortly behind, a dynamic youth ministry emerged along with ministry to families.
Ever since those initial days in 1960, emphasis has been given to the Word of God and to prayer, praise & worship, team ministry and the equipping of the saints.
Today we continue to be a church family that believes in the presence and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kamloops Full Gospel Tabernacle is a Spirit-filled, community-based church with a unique blend of people from every walk of life. Through biblical instruction and lifestyle we desire to:
- Communicate God’s love and acceptance,
- Demonstrate practical avenues of evangelistic outreach,
- Model scriptural standards of pastoral feeding and care,
- Provide prophetic insight into the church’s destiny, and
- Implement teaching within the local church to equip all the saints for the work of the ministry.
