Doc Findlay Snow Stomp – Kamloops Trails

Right after a snowfall we hiked a loop in Kenna Cartwright Park that included a favorite section on the Doc Findlay Trail.   I knew Dr. Findlay (link) and his family and I am pleased that the trail was named after him.    The creation of Kenna Cartwright Park was partly due to his efforts.  

We started at the Pacific Way trailhead and hiked down to the Rabbit Run Trail, then back to the Lower Doc Findlay Trail.  

The Doc Findlay Trail winds over a series of small bluffs overlooking Kamloops, with some great viewpoints.    

Even though it was a grey day, there was lots to see on this 75 minute loop route on the snow.
