Buse Hill Hike – Kamloops Trails
A good hike in spring is the route to the top of Buse Hill. The trail starts on the Robbins Range Road and climbs to the top of the steep bluffs looking east. Buse Protected Area (BC Parks) includes Buse Lake and Buse Hill. We hiked up the main double track for 2 km to the viewpoint, then explored some side routes. All photos by the author. From the top of the hill the Buse Pillar stands to the west. A single track trail can be hiked over to the area above the pillar. The cliffs extend east and west overlooking Barnhartvale and the South Thompson River Valley. On a day with good weather, the views extend in 3 directions.
