
BC NDP MLA Kahlon says funding will support community services for people in Delta
DELTA – BC New Democrat MLA Ravi Kahlon says people in Delta will benefit from enhanced programs and community services as local non-profits receive Community Gaming Grants.
“Delta has a great variety of non-profit organizations, all designed to not only foster community, but support everyone in it,” said Ravi Kahlon, MLA for Delta North. “I’m so grateful we can support organizations in their work to help people thrive.”
In Delta, 17 non-profits are receiving a total of $672,900. Local non-profits include:

Deltassist Family and Community Services Society – $125,000

North Delta Rotary Club – $45,000

Sunshine Hills Parent Participation Preschool – $7,000

Reach Child and Youth Development Society – $100,000
In 2025-2026, more than $56 million was distributed among 1,225 non-profit organizations through the Human and Social Services stream of the Community Gaming Grants program.
