MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Minister Steven MacKinnon (transport, government House leader), Conservative MP Garnett Genuis, as well as Liberal MPs Anthony Housefather and Jonathan Wilkinson face questions on the state of the economy amid concerns that Canada has entered a technical recession. (June 5, 2026)
