Evan Solomon highlights new AI strategy – June 5, 2026

At an event hosted by the Mila – Quebec AI Institute in Montreal, AI and Digital Innovation Minister Evan Solomon discusses the government’s newly-launched artificial intelligence strategy. Titled “AI for All”, the plan aims to maximize the economic potential of the technology while ensuring it is adopted responsibly and under Canadian control. The minister is introduced by his parliamentary secretary, Taleeb Noormohamed. After his speech, Solomon takes questions from journalists.
