Conservatives on comment on new U.S. tariffs, CUSMA review – June 3, 2026

Conservative MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as the federal party holds its weekly caucus meeting.

MPs Adam Chambers, Kelly DeRidder and Fraser Tolmie are asked about the new U.S. 10 per cent tariffs on 60 countries over forced labour concerns.

Chambers speaks as well on CUSMA trade talks with the Trump administration

DeRidder also speaks about the passage in the House of Commons of her private members’ bill that would allow court-ordered drug rehabilitation for offenders.

Additionally, Tolmie comments on the temporary grounding of the Canadian Air Force’s Snowbirds until a replacement aircraft is procured.

MPs Brad Vis and Bob Zimmer speak about Kerry-Lyne Findlay’s election as the new leader of the B.C. Conservative party.

MP Frank Caputo is asked about Bill C-22, the federal government’s legislation on lawful access.
