TRU stands in solidarity on the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people, also known as Red Dress Day.

TRU is honouring this important day with a special event.

Stand with us in support, reflection and action as we bring awareness and remembrance to MMIWG2S.

Date: Tuesday, May 5

Location: TRU Kamloops campus, OLARA (ARA 201)

Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Hear from keynote speaker Cheryl Alexander and watch a Jingle Dress Dance performance by Miss Kamloopa Sunshine Edwards.
