Inflation en hausse à 2,4 % au Canada

L’inflation atteint 2,4 % en mars, en accélération par rapport à 1,8 % en février. Selon Statistique Canada, cette hausse s’explique principalement par l’augmentation des prix de l’énergie, notamment de l’essence, sur fond de tensions au Moyen-Orient. Pour analyser la situation, Marc-André Cossette s’entretient avec Jimmy Jean, économiste en chef du Mouvement Desjardins.
