11:00 ET: Alberta First Nation presents study on health impacts of nearby oil and gas operations

At a news conference in Ottawa, members of the Mikisew Cree First Nation discuss the findings of an independent study on cancer in their community and its link to oil and gas operations.

The First Nation, based in northern Alberta, has been challenging the province on its plan to dispose of treated oil tailings into the nearby Athabasca River.
