Alberta Lieutenant Governor Salma Lakhani presides over a swearing-in ceremony for a new member of Premier Danielle Smith’s cabinet. Grant Hunter, the MLA for Taber–Warner and associate minister for water, is taking over as Alberta’s new minister of environment and protected areas following the resignation of Rebecca Schulz.

Premier Smith holds a news conference following the event.
