Treaty 8 First Nation chiefs object to Alberta-Ottawa pipeline MOU – December 11, 2025

At a news conference in Ottawa, chiefs from the Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta discuss their objection to the federal government’s memorandum of understanding on energy with Alberta. The agreement lays the groundwork for a new bitumen pipeline to the Pacific coast.
