Fareed Khan, the founder of Canadians United Against Hate, holds a news conference in Ottawa to mark International Human Rights Day. Khan and others are calling attention to the situation in Gaza and to Canada’s obligations under international law.

Also appearing are Nadia Abu-Zahra (University of Ottawa professor and a Palestinian-Canadian researcher with the university’s Human Rights Research and Education Centre), Rabbi David Mivasair (human rights activist and founding member of Independent Jewish Voices), Aliya Khan (co-chair of Doctors for Humanity), and Ahmed Ramadan (advocacy officer and campaign specialist at Justice For All Canada).
