MPs comment on forthcoming Alberta-Ottawa energy deal – November 25, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Liberal MPs Ben Carr, Darren Fisher, Gurbux Saini, Corey Hogan, Marcus Powlowski, NDP MPs Leah Gazan and Jenny Kwan, as well as Conservative MP Kevin Waugh and Green Party Leader Elizabeth May face questions on an expected memorandum of understanding on energy between Alberta and the federal government, which may include special exemptions for a new bitumen pipeline from that province to the north coast of British Columbia.
