Point de presse de plusieurs OBNL concernant l’industrie minière – 31 octobre 2025

L’organisme Eau Secours et la Coalition Québec Meilleure Mine tiennent solidairement une « procession funèbre » autour de la colline parlementaire à Ottawa. L’action vise à dénoncer la destruction de nombreux lacs et rivières causée par les déversements miniers. Ces groupes demandent au gouvernement Carney d’abolir le règlement qui permet ces pratiques et de renforcer les normes environnementales visant à protéger les lacs et rivières.

Ont pris la parole, Rébecca Pétrin, directrice-générale d’Eau Secours et Rodrigue Turgeon, avocat, co-porte-parole de la Coalition Québec Meilleure Mine et coresponsable du programme national de MiningWatch Canada.
