MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Conservative House Leader Andrew Scheer speaks about the possibility of an election if the Liberal minority government is unable to pass the upcoming federal budget.

Scheer and Bloc Québécois MP Alexis Brunelle-Duceppe are also asked about the reported tirade by U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra towards Ontario trade representative David Paterson.

Randeep Sarai, secretary of state of international development, speaks about the federal response to assist Cuba and Jamaica in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.
