MPs comment on Canada-India relations, employment numbers – October 10, 2025

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Conservative MP John Williamson and NDP Interim Leader Don Davies respond to questions on the future of Canada-India relations ahead of Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand’s trip to the country.

Davies also comments on the upcoming federal budget, which is set to be tabled on November 4 in the House of Commons.

Conservative MP Garnett Genuis speaks about the latest employment numbers, which were released by Statistics Canada earlier in the day.
