Israël et le Hamas en sont venus à un accord pour une première phase d’un cessez-le-feu. Cela inclut un échange d’otages de la part de chaque partie. Mais, selon Charles-Philippe David, professeur de sciences politiques à l’Université du Québec à Montréal et fondateur de la Chaire Raoul-Dandurand, le plus difficile est à venir.
