United States say they don’t want vehicles assembled in Canada

The U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said yesterday that Canada should expect tariffs as part of any future auto deal. The administration doesn’t want vehicles assembled in Canada in the United States. Nonetheless, Brian Kingston, president and CEO of the Canadian vehicle manufacturers association, believes both countries will eventually come to an agreement.
