Entrevue avec Sean Fraser sur la liberté d’expression, la réforme de la mise en liberté et la Loi 21

Le ministre de la Justice et procureur général du Canada, Sean Fraser, défend les priorités législatives de son gouvernement, alors qu’il fait face à de vives critiques. Son projet de loi visant à interdire l’intimidation et l’entrave dans les lieux de culte, écoles et centres communautaires suscite l’inquiétude des groupes de défense des libertés civiles, qui dénoncent un risque pour la liberté d’expression. Fraser prépare aussi une réforme du régime de mise en liberté sous caution, réclamée de longue date par les provinces. Enfin, la contestation fédérale de la Loi 21 devant la Cour suprême soulève un vif débat constitutionnel.
