Storm Douse Posse 5-3 In Final Tune Up

The Kamloops Storm closed out their exhibition schedule with a 5-3 home ice win over the Princeton Posse Saturday night. Newcomers Carson Werbowesky and Spencer McCallum had two goals and an assist each while Seth Holte and Hayden Selin (into an empty net) also tallied for the Storm. Brenner Fyfe stopped 30 of the 33 shots he faced on the night in getting the win in net. Kamloops was a perfect 4 for 4 on the penalty kill with a shorthanded goal (Werboweski) and 1 for 4 on the power play. The Storm finished 2-2 in Exhibition Play and will open the regular season next Friday September 19th against the Chase Heat.
