TRUSU Volunteer Fair

August 18, 2025 at 11:51 am  Education, Kamloops, News

Do you want to make a difference in the community?

Are you looking for ways to bolster your resume?

Then the TRUSU Volunteer Fair is for you!

Join us on Monday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the basketball courts outside of Old Main.

Hosted by TRUSU in partnership with United Way BC, this event brings two groups together – students who want to volunteer and organizations that have volunteer opportunities for students.

The TRUSU Volunteer Fair is your chance to learn and connect with organizations that align with your abilities, goals and capacity as a student.

Non-profits from across the Kamloops area will have booths where you can talk to representatives and access their posted volunteer openings.

If you find an opportunity you align with, there will be a QR code you can scan to apply instantly using your iVolunteer account.

Register in advance to get all the information you need to apply for volunteer opportunities at the fair.
