Ottawa announces support for women with disabilities in the workforce – August 14, 2025

At a news conference in Toronto, Women and Gender Equality Minister Rechie Valdez announces more than $656,000 in support for Realize, a local organization that is working towards advancing economic security for women with episodic disabilities. Valdez is joined by Melissa Egan (co-director, national programs, Realize) and Ingrid Palmer (principal IDEAL advocate, Realize).
