Parliamentarians urge Canada to support release of Hong Kong publisher Jimmy Lai – June 10, 2025

At a news conference in Ottawa, a group of MPs and senators call on Canada’s delegation to the upcoming G7 meeting in Alberta to champion the release of Jimmy Lai, a jailed newspaper publisher and pro-democracy activist in Hong Kong.
