Wildfires: Manitoba declares province-wide state of emergency – May 28, 2025

At a news conference in Winnipeg, Wab Kinew, the premier of Manitoba, announces that his government is declaring a province-wide state of emergency due to worsening wildfire conditions in the eastern and northern parts of the province.
