Manitoba Announces support for agriculture sector amid trade war with U.S. – April 2, 2025

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew holds a news conference in Brandon to announce more than $150 million in support for the province’s agricultural producers as the industry as it contends with the impacts of the ongoing trade war with the United States. This comes ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump’s unveiling of his so-called “Liberation Day” tariff policy.
