The Canadian and Mexican auto sector is being spared from President Donald Trump’s punishing 25% tariffs for the next 30 days, although the White House specified this was to give them time to shift their production to the United States. CPAC’s Michael Serapio assesses the situation with Canada’s Minister of Transport and Internal Trade Anita Anand.
