Rookie Luca D’Amore is no longer a rookie as he had two goals an an assist including the overtime winner in leading the Kamloops Storm to a 3-2 win in game four of the Doug Birks Division semi-final. D’Amore finishes the series with 4 goals in 4 games. The win gives Kamloops a 4 game sweep of the Quesnel River Rush and advances the Storm to play either the Williams Lake Mustangs or the 100 Mile House Wranglers. That series is tied up at 2-2. Storm Goaltender Brenner Fyfe was outstanding stopping 52 of 54 shots he faced in getting the win. Wyatt Olson also scored for Kamloops who went 1 for 2 on their power play while Quesnel went 1 for 3. Kamloops will get a well-deserved week and a half long rest before their second round series.
